My Grandma Mary Theresa Little was one of the most wonderful women I've ever had the privilege to know. She was so kind and caring, and was always thinking about others.
She was born on 29th December 1940 in Jarrow where she spent her early childhood. She then moved to Elswick which is where she met Ronnie. They married on 7th January 1961 and went on to have 3 children Kevin, Ian and Tracy. In time, they also had 5 Grandchildren Dean, Deanne, Samantha, Kyle and Nikki. She was a truly loved Daughter (to John Rutherford and Theresa Rutherford, both sadly deceased. R.I.P), Mother in-law to Traci and Michelle, Daughter in-law, Aunt, Great Aunt to Scott and Morgan, and a wonderful Friend to all who knew and loved her. She had type 1 Diabeties, which she managed brilliantly (a lot better than me and my Dad do!!). Sadly after fighting cancer over the years, Breast Cancer and chest infections took her away from us, she died on 8th December 2004. There was a lovely Humanist Funeral for her on 15th December 2004 where all her Family and Friends came to pay their respects. The funeral was beautiful, 'Over the Rainbow' by Eva Cassidy and 'Flying Without Wings' by Westlife were played.
As the years have passed, I still think about her everyday. My fondest memories of her are from our family holiday to Florida in May 2004, just months before she pased away. She meant a lot to me, and a lot to her family. She was a wonderful person and is missed by everyone, our thoughts are always with her. Thank you to anyone who pays their respects on this site.

My Grandma now has 5 great grandchildren all together who she has not met, Dylan, Chloe Mary and Ashton and Jack Ian William and Sienna, I know she watches over them all and keeps them safe.

So 6 years have been and gone without you in them. It's hard Grandma. I think about you everyday, not just today, but this day seems to bring it all back, and make the hurt worse. You were the most importnat woman in my life, and I miss you terribly. What I'd give to have 5 minutes with you again, just to give you a big hug and tell you how much I love you.
I hope you can still hear us/see us, and watch over us all.
We all miss you so much.

So, here we are again huh?!
We are moving home tomorrow, jsut down the street, 2 doors down from Donna. It's hectic in here!
Jack is almost 1 now, at the end of September! And Chloe will be 2 in November! Crazy how time flies isn't it.
Just wanted to drop in and say hi.
Dads doing better after his op, but keep an eye on him.

Hi.
Been a while huh? Well Jack is here now, and he's almost 5 month old. He's lovely. Chloe is now 15 1/2 month old! she's doing great Grandma. She's walking and running like crazy! And says mamma all the time. She's starting to say Dadda and daddy too now.
Dads not good, he's slipped a disc in his back. Keep an eye on him.
You probably know I'm not speaking to mam anymore, haven't spoke to her since June last yr I think. She's horrible and I really don't like her anymore. I'm done with her now, she's not seen Jack either, and hasn't seen Chloe since Feb 09!
Never mind. Keep watching over everyone ok.

Pregnant again
Hi Grandma. Sorry I haven't been on here in ages, I have no time to be on the PC anymore! Chloe is 4 months old now and I'm 8 weeks pregnant now too. We're very happy. Chloe is a lovely little thing, she is growing so fast, she is on foods now, well trying them anyway! I have added some pictures of her for you to look at. I know you watch down on here all the time and keep her safe, and watch her grow, Please keep on doing that, and keep an eye on your Great Granddaughter Chloe Mary. She is wonderful, such a special little princess in mine and Chris's eyes. We all love you and miss you so much Grandma, I took Chloe along to the crematorium on the anniversary of your death too in December. I hope you were there and watching.
